9 most wanted nabbed in Bataan

BATAAN – Nine most wanted persons were arrested in a week-long anti-crime drive in this province.

Bataan police acting director Col. Romell Velasco said members of the Orion police, 2nd PMFC Bataan, Bataan PIU, 1st Platoon 302nd MC, RMFB3, RID3, CIDG PFU Bataan arrested Oliver Tolosa, 42, of Bgy. Calungusan, Orion, Bataan, for violation of RA 9165.

Velasco said operations by the Mariveles police, 2nd PMFC Bataan and CIDT-PFU Bataan resulted in the arrest of Jose Javier, 43, of Bgy. Biaan Upper, Mariveles, listed as No. 6 most wanted with a warrant for rape and acts of lasciviousness.

Limay police and the CIDG Bataan arrested Mark Fernandez, 28, of Capricorn St., Bgy. Saint Francis 1, Limay, Bataan, for two counts of sexual assault.

On March 9, three other most wanted felons were nabbed in Orion, Limay and Bagac. 

Jerlie Eusebio, 40, of Bgy. Gen. Lim, Orion and no. 7 in police Sibat Target, was arrested by the Orion police for 2 counts of estafa; Rolando Balbuenas, 24, of Bgy. Lamao, Limay, Bataan, was apprehend for rape and acts of lasciviousness; and Mark Ian Mercado, 18, a student and resident of Bgy. Parang, Bagac, was arrested for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and damage to property.

On March 10, another three most wanted persons were arrested in Hermosa, Limay and Pilar.

Aljon David, 27, of Bgy. Bacong, Hermosa, no. 8 in Sibat Target  and member of the Paule crime group, was arrested for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002; Doriza Lumagbas, 37, of Bgy. Calzada, Mabini, Pangasinan and no. 6 most wanted in Mabini,  Pangasinan was arrested for qualified theft; Richard Ballier, 34, of Bgy. Liyang, Pilar, was nabbed for sexual assault.

Velasco lauded his men for the arrests as he vowed to step up manhunt operations in the province.
