Beautéderm Ambassadors: Serving those in need

ANGELES CITY – The essence of being a Beautéderm Ambassador is not just about having beautiful physical attributes – but about serving those in need.

This is how two women from this city described their roles as Beautéderm Ambassadors, during the Beautéderm press conference on June 26, 2022 at the Clark Marriott Hotel where they talked about what it is like to be part of the Beautéderm family.

Reina Manuel, Executive Assistant IV of the Angeles City government, believes she and the other ambassadors were chosen for a reason: to help Beautéderm reach out to people and communities.

“Nagpapasalamat ako kay Ms. Rea Tan sa lahat ng suporta nya sa aming programa, sa programa ng City Government at ni Mayor Pogi Lazatin. Sya ay taong talagang umangat pero nananatiling madaling maabot,” Manuel said.

Manuel is not the only one who sees her role as a Beautéderm ambassador fulfilling.

Irish “IC” Calaguas, Clark International Airport Corporation Vice President for Operations and Chief Adviser for Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., said the message of Beautéderm is clear — which is to spread love and care to practically anybody regardless of physical traits.

“Being a member of the Beautéderm family is a manifestation that Beautéderm recognizes not just physical traits but the inner beauty of a person,” Calaguas said.

She said the role bestowed upon her by Beautéderm is an integral part of her being, because even before being a part of this family, she has already been helping marginalized kababayans.

“I would like to thank Ms. Rea Tan for being generous and kind hearted, which are the qualities of a true Beautéderm Ambassador,” Calaguas said.

The company, according to Calaguas, has been very supportive of their outreach programs, helping them reach more marginalized kababayans. Tan’s Beautéderm has also been assisting in the various projects and programs of the city government of Angeles.

For her part, Tan said her “babies” – Dr. Rowena Medina, Lance Tan, Isabel Lim, Mak Tumang, Mitch Viray, Frederick Policarpio, Marlon Tuazon, Ning Cordero, Voltaire Zalamea, Manuel and Calaguas – are all successful in their respective fields.
