CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS – A reckless driver was arrested on Saturday for multiple offenses after a hot pursuit operation by Bulacan cops.
Bulacan police acting director Col. Charlie Cabradilla said a hot pursuit operation by the Balagtas police and the 1st PMFC led to the arrest of Jomar Idago, 25, of Pasong Bangkal, San Ildefonso, Balubad in Bulacan, for reckless imprudence resulting to damage to property and illegal possession of drugs and a bullet.
Idago, on board platinum graphite Kia Rio, was chased by police officers for hitting several vehicles and a motorcycle that started from MacArthur Highway in Balagtas, passing different barangays that continued on until the suspect’s vehicle crashed into the fence of a vacant lot at Balubad, Bulacan prompting his arrest.
Seized from the suspect were five sachets of shabu, drug paraphernalia, two cellular phones, a live bullet, a coin purse and the vehicle he used.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay commended his men as he vowed the vigilance and alertness of police officers against criminals and lawless individuals.
