Mabalacat City to push for Bible verse ordinance

MABALACAT CITY – Mayor Crisostomo Garbo said he will ask the city council to push for the Bible verse ordinance requiring all public tricycle drivers to place biblical passages in their sidecars.

This, as he bared plans to place Bible passages throughout this city to bring inspiration and constant spiritual guidance to Mabalaqueños.

Garbo will also be asking the local pastors to provide scriptures to be placed in strategic locations and public areas of this city once the ordinance has been implemented.

“I’ve been asking all the pastors to contribute Bible verses, mamiye la pung Word of God. Maging guiding light la ngan pu reni because the Word of God doesn’t see any denomination. Ala pung matsura keng Salita na ning Bibliya,” said Garbo.

“Deng tricycle buri ku mangabit la naman Salita na ning Guinu keng gulut da reng saken ra ampo keng kilub. Pagawa keng ordinansa ita, emila dinan prangkisa patse ala lang makanyan,” he added.

The Bible verse ordinance, the mayor said, will not only bring spiritual discipline and nourishment but may also give regular encouragement and motivation in daily lives.
