The Mabalacat City Government received the award for being one of the highest rating Local Government Units among the 21 LGUs in the Province of Pampanga in the recently concluded Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) Functionality Assessment for F.Y. 2025.
With a total rating of 100% in the said assessment, the City Council for the Welfare of Children (CCWC) obtained their back-to-back rating achievement since 2024.
Receiving the award during the flag raising ceremony on May 5, 2025 in front of Mabalacat City Hall is Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo, Chairperson of the City Council for the Welfare of Children.
He was joined by Sanggunigang Panlungsod members and the City Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (CiMTF).
On behalf of Dianne Lorin T. Tolentino, CLGOO VI and CIMTF Chairperson, Julius P. Lubo, DILG Representative and CCWC Secretariat Member presented the award.
