Following successes in the Middle East and the United States, Mekeni Food Corporation is doubling down on the international market as it is featured in a food fair in Las Vegas.
The International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines has announced that Mekeni is one of the featured Filipino food brands at the Winter Fancy Food Show on January 19 to 21 at Las Vegas Convention Center.
IFEX Philippines has announced through its FB account that “North Ridge Foods Company Inc. is excited to showcase a collection of Filipino food brands at the Winter Fancy Food Show 2025!”
Held annually in Las Vegas, the event is the largest gathering of the specialty, gourmet, ethnic, natural and organic food industry. In 2024, it brought together over 15,000 exhibitors and visitors.
Mekeni will be joined by an impressive array of Pinoy food that include Eng Bee Tin hopia, Barrio Fiesta Foods, Saranggani Bay Prime Bangus, Boy Bawang, Kangkong King and many others.
The FB post states, “With certifications like HACCP, HALAL, GMP, and ISO, North Ridge Foods ensures your sourcing needs are met with the highest standards. If you’re looking for top-tier, authentic Filipino food products, visit their booth at the Winter Fancy Food Show.”
Mekeni has successfully penetrated the US market with its tocino, longganisa and other processed food. In the Middle East, it has opened its distribution center in Doha, Qatar with Halal products.
The Porac-based food processing plant is also one of the very few Filipino food companies that has been permitted to sell products in Japan.
Mekeni products are also available in the UAE, Canada, Australia, Bahrain, Brunei, The Netherlands, and New Zealand.
