P272-K shabu seized, 28 law violators nabbed in Bulacan police ops

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS — At least P272,000 worth of shabu was confiscated while 28 law offenders were arrested in a series of police operations in Bulacan.

In a report to Bulacan police acting director Col. Charlie Cabradilla, suspect Ronaldo De Guzman alias Bats, of Partida, San Miguel, was arrested in a buy-bust by members of the San Miguel police. He yielded one pouch containing 11 sachets of shabu weighing at least 40 grams valued at P 272,000.

Twelve drug suspects were also arrested in different anti-drug busts conducted by members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Balagtas, Bocaue, Bulacan, Bustos, Guiguinto, Malolos, Pulilan, CSJDM and Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU). Seized were a total of 41 sachets of suspected shabu, cigarette cases and buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, an anti-illegal gambling operation in Meycauayan resulted in the arrest of six individuals. They were caught in the act of playing cara y cruz and yielded bet money in different denominations.

Two suspects were arrested in separate crime incidents in the cities of Malolos and CSJDM. Robelito Reyes, of Graceville, CSJDM, was arrested for qualified theft while Christopher Peralta, of Pitpitan, Bulakan, was nabbed for violation of PD 1612 (Anti-Fencing Law).

In a series of manhunt operations, tracker teams of Balagtas, Bocaue, Meycauayan, CSJDM police together with the elements of 2nd PMFC, 301st MC RMFB-3, 24th Special Action Company (SAF), PHPT Bulacan and 3rd SOU-Maritime Group resulted in the arrest of seven wanted persons including a most wanted suspect.

The most wanted person was identified as Rafael Guerrero alias Ela, of Batia, Bocaue for drugs. The six other wanted persons were Crisanto Buladas alias Letlet of Caingin, Meycauayan City, for disobedience; Alfonso Santiago, of Borol 1st, Balagtas for qualified rape; Arturo Dimaano, of Narra, CSJDM, for violation of RA 9262; John Allen Policarpio, of Minuyan I, CSJDM, for damage to property; Melissa Mendoza, of Bunducan, Bocaue, for  Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009; and Jonathan Tajan, of Lolomboy, Bocaue, for Anti-Child Abuse Law.

“Bulacan PNP is stepping up its operations against all forms of criminality in line with our instructions,” PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said.
