1-day Bulacan police op yields 28 law offenders

CAMP OLIVAS – PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said Bulacan cops arrested 28 law breakers including seven drug suspects, seven illegal gamblers and 14 other felons in police operations in Bulacan conducted in a day.

Joint operating troops of Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Malolos, Marilao and San Rafael police nabbed seven drug suspects and seized 10 sachets of shabu, two small bricks in cling wrap and five sachets of dried marijuana leaves and buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, members of the Guiguinto police and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) in separate anti-illegal gambling operations resulted to the arrest of seven illegal gamblers and confiscated evidence from them ball pens, winning board, stamp pad, calculator, set of playing cards and bet money in different denominations.

On the other hand, six suspects including five individuals were apprehended for theft and one suspect for violation of RA 9262 or Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children in Obando, San Jose Del Monte and Sta. Maria.

Elements of the Bocaue, Hagonoy, Meycauayan, Norzagaray, San Miguel, SJDM, police along with 1st PMFC personnel of 2nd PMFC Bulacan PPO, 301st MC RMFB3, PHPT Bulacan and 3rd SOU Maritime Group launched a series of manhunt operations that resulted in the arrest of eight fugitives with different crimes committed.

All the suspects are now under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.

“As we continue our campaign against all forms of lawlessness, we appeal to the public to continue supporting us in order for us to win this fight,’’ Baccay said.
