ANGELES CITY – City hall employees received yet again another round of incentives on Dec. 21 – this time their ₱5,000 Productivity Enhancement Incentive bonus on December 21, 2021.
Receiving the bonuses are a total of 1,316 City Hall workers – 980 permanent, 321 casual, and 15 contractual.
This is the fourth incentive released for the employees since November, as per Memorandum No. 1380 ordered by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr.
Among the cash incentives released are the year-end bonus last November 15; ₱3,000 year-end gratuity of 2,959 Contract of Service employees last Dec. 7; and the ₱6,000 Collective Negotiation Agreement for the 1,316 employees last Dec. 14.
Apart from these cash bonuses, the 1,316 employees are also set to receive one more cash incentive: ₱6,000 for the Service Recognition Incentive.
All city government employees working in the vaccination team will also get an extra ₱5,000 cash incentive.
To recall, Flordeliza Santos, president of the Association of Government Employees for a New Dynamic Angeles City (AGENDA), said the administration of Mayor Lazatin continues to look out for the welfare of the employees amid the health crisis.
“Yung administrasyon po ni Mayor Lazatin ay patuloy na nagpapahalaga sa kapakanan ng mga empleyado, may pandemya man po o wala,” Santos said.
