CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS – Fourteen persons were captured for different offenses by Bulacan police over by the weekend.
In a report to Bulacan police director Col. Manuel Lukban Jr., nine suspects were arrested in different anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by the operatives of Angat and Pandi MPS.
The suspects, who were caught in the act of engaging in different illegal cockfighting activities, yielded fighting cocks, gaffs and bet money in different denominations.
Meanwhile, four suspects were arrested in different crime incidents in Baliwag, Meycauayan and CSJDM.
They were identified as Jeffrey Uy, of Capihan, San Rafael, for violation of RA 8353 (Anti-Rape Law) in relation to RA 7610 (Anti-Child Abuse Law); Melchor Agustin, of Gaya-Gaya, CSJDM, for acts of lasciviousness; Gelo Balidoy, of Tungkong Mangga, CSJDM, for theft; and Michael Gianan, of Bayugo, Meycauayan City, for frustrated homicide.
A wanted person arrested in a manhunt operation by a tracker team of Pandi MPS was identified as Virgilio Bailon Jr. alias Jay-Ar, of Cacarong Bata, Pandi. He was held for kidnapping and serious illegal detention.
Appropriate complaints against the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
