1st standalone hemodialysis center launched in Porac

PORAC, Pampanga – In a significant milestone for the municipality, officials here led the soft opening of the town’s first stand-alone hemodialysis center, an initiative that promises to revolutionize local healthcare services.

Leading the inspection and soft opening of the Bayung Porac Hemodialysis Center are Mayor Jing Capil, Vice Mayor Francis “Budoy” Tamayo, Councilors Joy David, Jovy Venzon, RC Canlapan, Papay Carreon, Bong Buan, and Ayot Dimalanta.

The facility, which ranks as one of the largest in Pampanga, is leased and operated by Hemant Philippines and MediPly. It is designed to initially accommodate 10 dialysis patients, but later decided to expand to serve up to 20 patients that can handle 60 treatments per day or 1,300 treatments per month for 200 patients.

It offers much-needed dialysis services to residents without the need for lengthy travel to distant hospitals.

During the inauguration, Mayor Capil emphasized the importance of this healthcare advancement for the community, especially for those battling chronic kidney disease.

“This center represents our unwavering commitment to improving the healthcare services in Porac. We want to bring life-saving treatments closer to home, easing the burden on patients and their families,” said Capil.

The hemodialysis center boasts cutting-edge technology and is staffed by highly qualified healthcare professionals, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. With this new facility, the town of Porac is now better equipped to handle the growing demand for dialysis services in the region.

Mayor Capil said that this dialysis center will offer zero co-pay for all local residents needing treatment including laboratory tests and vaccines, and other medical needs related to kidney diseases.

Mayor Capil also emphasized that the establishment of the Bayung Porac Hemodialysis Center aligns with the local government’s vision of providing accessible and high-quality healthcare services to all residents.

“This center is not just a healthcare facility; it represents hope and a better quality of life for our patients and their families,” the mayor added.
