CABANATUAN CITY – Three kilos of shabu worth P20.4 million were seized from two big-time drug traders in a buy-bust on Wednesday in Cabanatuan City.
The suspects were identified as Sittie Pindatun, 30; and Nor-an Bilal 26, both of Barangay H-2, Dasmariñas, Cavite.
The entrapment operation in Lakewood Subd., Bgy. Sumacab Este, Cabanatuan City, was conducted by the combined elements of the Nueva Ecija PPO PPDEU/PIU NEPPO, PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, CIDG PFU NE, Cabanatuan CPS, RID3 and RDEU3.
The operating teams said the suspects are believed to be among the major distributors of shabu in NCR, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija province.
Confiscated from the suspects were two pieces of sealed green plastic tea bags containing shabu and 10 knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing at least three kilograms of shabu valued at P 20.4 million, marked money and two cellular phones.
The two suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
