2 Koreans, 4 Pinays nabbed for child cybersex trafficking

ANGELES CITY – Two Korean nationals and four Filipinas were arrested on Tuesday for online child sex abuse in this city.

Operatives of the CIDG Angeles, CIDG Pampanga and Angeles City police raided a residence in Diamond Subdivision, Bgy. Balibago Angeles City, allegedly being used in online child sex trafficking.

CIDG Region 3 chief Col. Norberto Delmas identified the suspects as South Korean nationals Chang Woon Lee, a 43-year-old vlogger, and Nokhang Yeon, 45; and their Filipina companions Rochelle Niña Ronquillo, 23, a native of Paniqui, Tarlac and residing at Hadrian 1 Extension, Mountain View Bgy., Balibago; Jolina Gercin, 23, of Sapang Palay, San Jose Del Monte,  Bulacan; Marian Lee, 26, of Sta. Rosa, Laguna; and Jhoana Mae de Jesus, 24, of Tuyo, Batangas.

Delmas said the police conducted the raid at the suspects’ house at #1018, Emmanuel St., Diamond Subdivision in Bgy., Balibago based on a female minor’s ordeal from the suspects.

The victim said she was allegedly forced by Lee and his wife to have a live chat with a Korean national who asked her to remove her clothes and show her private parts in exchange for money.

The victim managed to escape and together with her father, they went to the CIDG Angeles to file a complaint which resulted in the arrest of the suspects.

The raiding team confiscated a ring light, a TV set, a microphone, two sexy Japanese uniforms, two laptops and an internet router.

The suspects are now in the custody of the CIDG CFU Angeles and will be charged with violation of RA 7610 and RA 10364.
