CAMP LT. TOMAS J PEPITO – Two South Korean nationals wanted in their country were arrested on Wednesday in Angeles City.
Angeles City police acting commander Col. Diosdado Fabian said they served warrants of arrest against Korean nationals Youngsoo Kim, 38; and Youngsoo Choi, 37, both residents of No. 112 Maria Aurora, Villa Gloria Subd., Sto. Domingo in Angeles City.
Fabian said Embassy of Republic of Korea consular officer Jongtak Yoon sought the assistance of Police Station 4 for the arrest of the two foreigners who were wanted for fraud.
The two suspects were reportedly inside a mall in Clark, prompting Fabian to dispatch police officers led by Lt. Lerma Castro under the supervision of Police Station 4 commander Maj. Christopher Lalic.
The cops accompanied by the Korean consular officer went to the mall, arrested the two suspects and turned them over to Bureau of Immigration Fugitive Search Unit for custody and proper disposition.
