2 yield P700-K shabu in Angeles sting

ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City police on Wednesday arrested two notorious drug pushers and seized from them at least P700,000 worth of shabu in Bgy. Ninoy Aquino. 

Angeles City police commander Col. Rommel Batangan identified the suspects as Rommel Carlos alias Pile, 55, a native of Bgy. Telapayong, Arayat, Pampanga with residence at 4th St. Marisol, Bgy. Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City; and Elizabeth Cabredo, 49, of Balibago also in Angeles City.

Batangan said joint elements of the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU) led by OIC PMAJ Aris B. Gonzales launched an entrapment against the two suspects who yielded a sling bag containing three plastic sachets of shabu weighting at least 103 grams with an estimated DDB value of P700,400, and the P500 marked money.

Suspects are facing charges for violation of Section 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office.
