CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS – An estimated P10.02 million worth of suspected marijuana were seized on Wednesday from three drug suspects in an intensified anti-drugs campaign by the Bulacan police in Guiguinto and Obando.
In a report to PRO3 Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen, Bulacan police OIC Col. Relly Arnedo identified the three suspects as Eliterio Pazon Jr. alias Jun, 28, and Hazel Domingo, 31, both from Barangay Sta. Rita, Guiguinto; and Allan Lucero alias Lance, 31, from Hulo, Obando, Bulacan.
Pazon Jr. and Domingo were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Masagana Homes in Sta. Rita conducted by members of the Guiguinto police together with the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and seized 16 bricks of suspected marijuana weighing at least 30 kilograms with DDB value of P3.6 million.
Meanwhile, a joint buy-bust operation of the Obando police and PIU resulted in the arrest of Allan Lucero in Hulo, Obando where 67 bricks of marijuana were recovered, weighing at about 53.5 kilograms valued at P6,420,000.
“We are relentless in our campaign against illegal drugs and we will keep on conducting anti-drugs operations to stop its proliferation. May this serve as a warning to those who are still involved in illegal drug trade and illegal activities,” Pasiwen said.
