CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS — Three murder suspects and seven illegal gamblers were arrested over the weekend in intensified police operations in Bulacan.
Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said the prompt response of the Sta. Maria police led to the arrest of the suspects responsible for the death of one person and injuring another in Tumana, Sta. Maria.
Three suspects — Allan Quinao, 31, Ronnie Begornia, 38, and Rizaldy Ruiz, 33 — were taken into custody while Aguiela Quinao is still at large.
Arnedo said the two victims were on their way home to drop off their friend after a drinking spree when they crossed paths with the suspects, who were allegedly under the influence of liquor.
For no apparent reason, the suspects mauled and stabbed the victims.
Meanwhile, in Kaypian, CSJDM, four persons were caught in illegal “tupada” in Kaypian, CSJDM, and three in Mapulang Lupa, Pandi.
Cops recovered fighting cocks, gaffs and bet money in the operations.
Arnedo vows the unwavering anti-crime campaign and anti-illegal gambling drive in the province as ordered by PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen.
