CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Vital financial and medical support were provided to 424 Kapampangan residents by the Provincial Government of Pampanga on Feb. 17.
Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda ked the distribution of the assistance, which covered both financial aid for various needs and medical support, amounting to nearly ₱9 million in total.
The distribution began with the awarding of one-time cash incentives of ₱100,000 each to seven (7) senior citizens aged 95 and above in accordance with Ordinance No. 683.
Additionally, 27 individuals were granted general financial assistance, and 55 beneficiaries received burial assistance.
Vice Governor Pineda was accompanied by Board Members Cherry Manalo, Pol Balingit, Nelson Calara, and Atty. Jun Canlas, during the distribution.
In a separate but equally important effort, Vice Governor Pineda attended to individuals seeking medical support, including those facing hospital bills, chemotherapy and dialysis treatments, and necessary medical tests.
A total of PHP 6.8 million was distributed to 335 beneficiaries as part of the Governor’s Medical Assistance Program.
The said various assistance aim to help ease Kapampangan’s burdens and provide vital support for their well-being.
