
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A total of 4,500 Kapampangans received financial assistance under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program during a payout activity held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center on Saturday, December 20.
The payout was facilitated by the Provincial Government of Pampanga in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Each beneficiary received ₱5,700 as compensation for ten (10) days of work rendered under the TUPAD program, which aims to provide temporary employment and immediate income support to disadvantaged and displaced workers.


Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis Pineda expressed their appreciation to DOLE for its continued support in implementing programs that help uplift the lives of Kapampangans through dignified employment and social protection.
As part of the provincial government’s additional assistance, beneficiaries also received food packs and maintenance medicines to help address their basic needs.

The activity was attended by DOLE Regional Director Geraldine Panlilio, Assistant Regional Director Alex Cruz, Pampanga Provincial Director May Lynn Gozun, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, and key provincial officials.

The Provincial Government of Pampanga reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening partnerships with national government agencies to expand livelihood opportunities and provide timely assistance to the province’s most vulnerable sectors.
