CAMP OLIVAS — The fifth suspect and alleged leader of the Flores group believed responsible for the death two anti-drug cops of the Mabalacat City Police last December 3, 2022 died in a shootout on Wednesday in Sitio Dungan, Bgy. Tabun, Mabalacat City.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen identified the suspect as Kenneth Flores, who attempted to escape and fired at the police officers who were serving him a warrant of arrest for double murder.
However, during the counter-response, Flores got shot and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Recovered from the scene were one .45 pistol and a hand grenade.
Pasiwen lauded his men for another intel driven accomplishment, adding that justice is now finally served to the murdered cops.
“We did not stop conducting operations against those involved on the deaths of our two PNP personnel and all our efforts paid off,” Pasiwen said.
