BATAAN police director Col. Romell Velasco on Monday said selected personnel from the Bataan Police Provincial Office participated in the Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) Competition 2022 and emerged as first runner up.
Exhibition and awarding was held at PRO3 Grandstand at Camp Olivas in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. It was attended by PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay.
Contenders from 10 Central Luzon police offices — Angeles City, Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Olongapo City Police Office, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales — and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 showcased their CDM routines in the competition.
CDM competition has three phases — graded inspection, demonstration and problem-based scenario — all aimed at strengthening the police officers’ competence in managing stressful situations and exercising maximum tolerance.
Bataan PPO‘s remarkable CDM performance for this year’s competition was one of the many accomplishments in human resource development, particularly on the upskilling and reskilling of personnel.
