CAMP OLIVAS – Police authorities arrested a notorious drug peddler listed as a High-Value Target (HVT) during an anti-Illegal drug operation in Mexico town on Friday afternoon, June 24.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGen. Matthew P Baccay identified the suspect as Alinor Macarampat y Andamun alias “Nur”, 25, presently residing at San Isidro Resettlement, Magalang town.
Reports from PCol Alvin R Consolacion, Acting PD, Pampanga PPO, said that joint elements of PDEU/PIU Pampanga PPO, RPDEU-3, SCU3-RID, 2PMFC and Mexico MPS conducted a buy-bust operation at Brgy. Lagundi, Mexico town which resulted to the suspect’s arrest.
Recovered pieces of evidence from the suspect were one (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet and one (1) piece knot-tied transparent plastic ice bag, all containing substances believed to be shabu, weighing more or less 55 grams with estimated DDB value of Php374,000.00; one (1) piece of Php1,000 marked money; one (1) black NMAX motorcycle; and one (1) sling bag.
Appropriate charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 are being readied against the suspect for court referral.
“I commend our police for this accomplishment among others since this significantly reduces the proliferation and circulation of illegal drugs in our area,” Baccay said.
