CAMP OLIVAS – Mabalacat City police arrested a high value drug target and his cohort and seized over P600,000 worth of shabu in a drug sting.
In a report to Pampanga police director Col. Alvin Consolacion, members of the Mabalacat CPS Drug Enforcement Unit, PDEU-Pampanga PPO, RPDEU3, PDEG-SOU3 and 2nd PMFC Mabalacat Patrol base conducted a drug-bust in Bgy. Duquit, Mabalacat City Pampanga which resulted to the arrest of vendor Anthony Quizon, a high value target and resident of Bagong Anyo St., Bgy., Duquit, Mabalacat City; and his companion Cecile dela.Cruz, of Brgy., Dau.
Seized from them were one body bag, a one digital weighing scale, a white vehicle, a cellphone, five plastic sachets containing shabu valued at P646,000, and the marked money.
Charges for violations of Sec. 5 and 11 Art. II of RA 9165 are being readied against the two suspects.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthee Baccay said with the constant arrest and neutralization of illegal drug personalities as well as the unremitting commitment of the police to stop its proliferation, illegal drug traders will have less opportunity to propagate illegal drugs.
