MABALACAT CITY – The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) is eyeing to pattern this city’s best practices on its vaccination program, processes and methodology, for the national government to replicate.
This was gleaned during Undersecretary Ernesto Perez’s visit to the COVID-19 Response Integrated System (CRIS) program at SM City Clark on Tuesday, August 23.
Perez added that they also plan to hold a summit on the CRIS program.
“Itong system ninyo sa Mabalacat ang planong irecommend para gawin na template sa national para gawin best practice. Plano rin ng ARTA na magkaroon ng summit dito,” Perez shared.
Usec. Perez commended the quick response of the city government in its vaccination program through CRIS head Dr. Jay Rivera.
Mayor Cris Garbo takes pride in the city’s effective implementation of the CRIS program which earned various recognitions including the highest overall vaccine utilization rate in Central Luzon.
“It is an honor for us to be recognized for what we do for our Cabalens but we believe it is our duty and responsibility to serve the Mabalaquenians to the best of our abilities,” said Garbo.
“This is our objective – to come up with best practices of our services not only for the benefit of the locals but also the government as a whole,” Garbo added.
With a total of 259, 226 fully vaccinated individuals as of August 25, Mabalacat City has reached more than 100% completion rate. This city has since been recognized as having one of the highest numbers of vaccinated individuals among the local government units in Central Luzon.
