P1.4-M illegal drugs seized, 43 felons nabbed in Bulacan SACLEO

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS – An estimated P1.4 million worth of illegal drugs were seized while 43 law offenders were arrested as the Bulacan PNP continues its weeklong Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO).

In a report to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen, Bulacan police acting director Col. Charlie Cabradilla said some 29 drug suspects were arrested in a series of drug operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Balagtas, Baliwag, Bocaue, Bustos, Malolos, Norzagaray, Plaridel, Pulilan, San Rafael, SJDM, Sta. Maria police along with the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU).

A total of 85 sachets of shabu, one large brick and five sachets of dried marijuana leaves, coin purse, cigarette packs and buy-bust money were also seized in the operations.

Meanwhile, different anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by members of the San Miguel and SJDM police along with the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force (PMFC) Company resulted in the arrest of seven illegal gamblers who were caught engaging in different illegal gambling activities (bookies & playing cards).

On the other hand, seven persons wanted by law were arrested in different manhunt operations conducted by the tracker team of Marilao, Meycauayan, Pandi, Plaridel police and 1st Bulacan Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC).

They were arrested for theft, estafa, slight physical injuries, violations of BP 22 (Bouncing Check Law), C.O 7309 (Anti-Smoking Ordinance for Non-Appearance) and RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act).
