The Pampanga Delta has clobbered the Consolacion Sarok Weavers 76-71 in last night’s Pilipinas Super League (PSL) 21-Under championships.
Justine Bautista bagged the PSL 21U National Finals Super MVP as he finished with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
Gov. Dennis Pineda, in his Facebook post, thanked the Kapampangans who prayed for the team and those who went to Cebu City to watch the game.
“Maraming salamat po sa mga Kapampangan na nagdasal o nagpunta sa Cebu City para manood ng laban. Maraming salamat po sa mga minamahal kong Kapampangan,” Pineda said.
Aside from bagging the championship, the Pampanga Delta also won Best Coach.
“Maraming salamat po at binigyan po ninyo ang Pampanga Delta ng pagkakataon na maghatid ng malaking karangalan sa ating probinsya,” Pineda said. “Umasa po kayo na aabante pa ang Pampanga Delta.”
