Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo recently visited 21 bedridden Mabalaqueños in Barangay Duquit to extend financial aid and to also pray for them. Visiting the bedridden is part of the Banig ng Karamdaman Program. To date, 450 Mabalaqueños have been enrolled under the program, receiving P8,000 to P12,000 per year. A flagship undertaking, the social assistance program has been MCG’s commitment to the sick, elderly and persons with disability since assuming mayorship in 2017. (Mabalacat CIO)
