MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Two suspected drug dens were dismantled on Monday in separate operations that resulted in the apprehension of 13 drug suspects and seizure of some P186,300 worth of shabu in this city.
The anti-drug operations were conducted by members of the PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and PDEA-3 Special Enforcement Section.
The first operation was launched on Roxas Street, Bgy. Dau that led to the arrest of eight drug suspects identified as David Hernan alias Jon Jon, 36; China Bañar, 42; Berna Dicto, 29; Mike Aro, 42; Melvin Marcelo, 31; Jon-Jon Bais, 36; Rodney Cariño, 42; and Mercedes Lagrimas, 36.
The second drug sting was conducted on the same street where five drug suspects were nabbed namely Edsel Galang, alias Bruce, 50; Maria Hilda Permites, 41; Gemma Gopez, 45; Ace Vital, 34; and Ericson Miranda, 34.
The two operations yielded more or less 27 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P186,300, assorted drug paraphernalias and marked money.
All the suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
