MABALACAT CITY — The city government has confiscated and destroyed off-the-scale weighing scales to promote fair trade in the city, in observance of “Consumer Welfare Month”.
At the same time, the Public Market Administration Office under the Mabalacat City Government had a partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for the conduct of the Diskwento Caravan wherein supermarkets, groceries, farmers, and vendors can sell their products with great discounts.
Gracing the kick-off of the event are Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, Consumer Protection Division chief Nathaniel Samson and Nutrition Officer Gladys Lingat of Mabalacat.
