CAMP OLIVAS – A 24-year-old man illegally selling guns was arrested on Thursday by members of the CIDG Region 3 in a buy-bust in the City of San Fernando.
CIDG Region 3 chief Col. Norberto Delmas said Carlo Pineda, of Purok 6, Bgy. San Pedro Cutud, City of San Fernando, was nabbed in Purok 2, Bgy. Sta. Lucia under Oplan Paglalansag Omega and Big Bertha conducted by the CIDG Pampanga and San Fernando City police.
Authorities seized from Pineda a sling bag containing one .45 pistol, a magazine for caliber .45 loaded with five live bullets, the P500 marked money, seven pieces of P1,000 boodle money, a cell phone, five plastic sachets of shabu worth at least P23,200.
Delmas said the suspect was brought to CIDG Pampanga and will be charged with violations of RA 10591 and RA 9165.
