A student from the Mabalacat City College, Danielle Ruth Ubando, is currently taking part in the APEC Sustainable Social Entrepreneurship Training (ASSET) 2024 being held in Seoul, South Korea from June 24 to 28, 2024.
The initiative is organized by the International Affairs Service arm of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in collaboration with the Institute of the APEC Collaborative Education (IACE).
It introduces the ALCoB-U program to nurture young minds in the field of social entrepreneurship.
The Social Entrepreneur Incubating Program under ASSET is designed to offer comprehensive training to prepare the Next-Generation Leaders for their future ventures.
Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo expressed his enthusiasm regarding the involvement of Mabalacat City College in such a program, emphasizing the importance of providing students with international exposure and opportunities.
Mayor Garbo envisions that graduates from MCC will not only excel nationally but also make a mark on the global stage.
