CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – One of Pampanga’s top executives in diverse businesses was invited to be part of the executive committee of eFIBA World Finals 2024.
In a letter, Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas has formally offered Paul Tristan Laus of the Laus Group of Companies to help steer one of the world’s top e-sports competitions.
“We are confident that your leadership skills and expertise in your field will contribute to the success of this hosting,” Panlilio stated in the letter dated September 17. “We write to formally invite you to be part of the eFIBA World Finals 2024 Executive Committee.”
The eFIBA World Finals 2024 is scheduled on December 11-12, 2024 at the SMX Convention Center in Clark, Pampanga.
“As host country, we aim to deliver the grandest, most memorable and extremely entertaining event that will set the standard for future eFIBA World Finals and all other NBA2K tournaments,” Panlilio said.
Laus, son of the late countryside development exponent Levy Laus, has been known to be one of the country’s leading patrons in e-sports.
He has sent Laus teams to various competitions in the US and other countries.
