It was the second time I went to Solaire Resort North – but this time, I experienced a first.
Solaire Resort North held its first-ever Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony last November 6 – and I was there to witness it.
With an invitation from Joy Wassmer, Solaire North’s director of Communication, some members of the Pampanga Press Club were eager to witness a first in the only 5-star hotel in Quezon City – done “The Solaire Way.”
Solaire North Resort Chief Operating Officer Greg Hawkins said the illuminated Christmas tree is a symbol of “hope and joy this holiday season and beyond.”
Joining Mr. Hawkins in the ceremony were Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Bloomberry Resorts Corporation Vice Chairman for Construction and Regulatory Affairs Donato Almeda, and Quezon City 1st District Representative Juan Carlos ‘Arjo’ Atayde.
PPC members, along with national media, were then treated to a sumptous buffet dinner at Fresh, which was located alongside the hotel’s pool – which, by the way, shone beneath the stars that night.
But the night didn’t end with dinner, you see. We were treated to a gorgeous view of the city lights, up at the Sky Bar, located on the 38th floor. It was simply a sight to behold.
We stayed the night in their deluxe bedrooms, and slept on comfy beds, under soft sheets. There was a surprise hamper, too, filled with all sorts of goodies and delights.
Solaire North’s accommodations and amenities were beyond what we expected – and we were truly privileged to have experienced this luxurious hospitality – done “The Solaire Way”.
