He was also previously affiliated with a cultural group linked to insurgency. He surrender his long 22 caliber long fire arm without serial number which he claimed was provided by Santos.

Fajardo continues to urge individuals still involved in insurgency to surrender and reintegrate into mainstream society, assuring them of the necessary support and assistance during their transition to a peaceful and lawful life.

“Every surrender marks a step toward peace, not just for these individuals but for the entire community. The decision of these former rebels to lay down their arms is a powerful statement to the effectiveness of our intensified anti-insurgency efforts and the growing trust in our security forces. We welcome them back into society and assure them of our full support as they rebuild their lives. Our doors remain open to those who still choose the path of violence and we urge them to surrender, for the future belongs to those who embrace peace, not conflict,” the police general further said.
