CLARK FREEPORT – A Swedish company manufacturing consumer electronics, engineered soft goods, and other industrial products has officially inaugurated its production facility within the PhilExcel Annex area inside this Freeport.

Gaerlan expressed elation over OSM’s decision to choose this Freeport as their business location.

“We are happy… because it is one of the many signs that Clark Freeport Zone continues to play a major role in the dynamic progress of our country. Despite the challenges brought by the pandemic, Clark continues to be a choice investment hub in the Philippines,” he added.

For her part, Thunborg cited this Freeport as a suitable investment destination given its strategic location, connectivity, and ideal business climate.

“It is important for Swedish companies to look outside of Metro Manila for investment and trade opportunities, and Clark should be a top priority due to its strategic location, proximity to transport hubs, and its support to the investors,” she said.

OSM Clark currently employs 103 workers from various communities near this Freeport. It provides services such as end consumer driven design, product development, scalable mass production with retail packaging capabilities, and supply chain management solutions.

The company was first established in Sweden in 2004 and now has various offices and manufacturing sites in other countries. These include Hong Kong, China, Stockholm and the Philippines.
