Mabalacat City re-electionist Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and vice mayoralty candidate Win-Win Garbo, along with the rest of their slate, officially signed the peace covenant at San Rafael Arkanghel Parish in Barangay Mabiga.
Although their camp was not able to attend the unity walk because of official duties at the city hall, Garbo said they made sure the whole slate attended the peace covenant signing.
Councilor candidates present were Noel Castro, Engr. Rox Peña, Ralph Basti David, Totong Mendiola, Doc Cocoy Tiglao, Carl Dizon, Elmer Calaguas, Jerry Magsino, and Benjie Pangan.
The signing of the peace covenant is an event organized by the COMELEC, PNP, and other agencies which aims to promote clean, honest, and peaceful elections in the city, as candidates pledge their commitment to fair campaigning and responsible governance.
