
CONCEPCION, TARLAC – Twelve young, lovely and talented ladies are vying for the prestigious title of Binibining Concepcion 2025.
A sashing ceremony and press presentation was held at the newly inaugurated Municipal Government Center in Barangay Alfonso here over the weekend.

The candidates vying for the crown are Zyra Graciano Basilio – San Nicolas Poblacion, Jasmin Arciga – Sta. Cruz, Kamal Jit Singh – Green Village, Erika Mangubat – Sitio Tacde, Sta. Cruz, Kirsten Gien Tizon – Sta. Rita, Princess Nicole Surla – San Isidro, Frances Gail Lumbang Gonzales – San Jose, Vhia Valerie Rosario – San Juan, Louella Vera Hipolito – San Francisco, Kristine Joy Guillermo – Mabilog, Jillian Heaven Leigh Domondon – San Agustin, Wendy Yumul – Sto. Rosa, and Arriane Gozate – Malupa.


The program opened with a warm welcome from Municipal Mayor Noel Villanueva and Fiestang Balen Executive Committee Chair, Atty. Myla Matic.


“The sashing ceremony is more than just a tradition—it is a symbol of commitment and responsibility,” Matic remarked. “Wearing the sash signifies that each candidate has officially stepped into a role that goes beyond beauty. It represents their dedication to embodying the values of leadership, cultural pride, and community service. From this moment on, they carry the honor of representing Concepcion, and with that comes the duty to inspire and uplift others. The coronation on April 24, 2025, will be the culmination of this journey, but tonight marks the true beginning of their transformation into role models for our town.”


Meanwhile, Binibining Concepcion 2024 titleholder Aira Klennette Canlas hosted the event.
A vibrant production number set the stage before the grand introduction of the candidates. Event organizer Jay Flores and Municipal Tourism Officer Jennifer Balatbat delivered messages underscoring the pageant’s role in fostering local pride, empowering young women, and elevating Concepcion’s cultural heritage. The highlight of the evening was the sashing ceremony, marking the candidates’ official journey toward the crown.
Among the distinguished personalities in attendance, alongside Mayor Villanueva and Legal Officer Matic, were Municipal Accountant Reggie Bondoc, Municipal Tourism Officer Jennifer Balatbat, Municipal Treasurer Engelberto Macalino, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator Ma. Socorro Padlan, Municipal Agriculturist Juanito Lindo Jr., Municipal Civil Registrar Rhoda Galang, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Ronald Bautista, Municipal General Services Officer Joy Anne Lorenzo, Municipal Human Resource Management Officer Flora Perez, and Municipal Veterinarian Dr. Rolando Arciga.
Beyond its rich cultural heritage, Concepcion has long been home to individuals who have left a lasting impact on the nation. As these young women take center stage, they continue a legacy of leadership and excellence, proving that the town is not just a place of history but also a cradle of future changemakers.
