BALIUAG, BULACAN – At least 100 pieces of ecstasy pills worth some P170,000 were seized on Monday from a female consignee of the illegal party drugs in Bulacan.
Police identified the woman, whom the package from the Netherlands was addressed to, as Maria Isabel G. Lim, 29, and resident of Villa Katrina Subd., Baliuag, Bulacan.
Confiscated from Lim were a black plastic pouch containing two transparent plastics with at least 100 pink tablets of ecstasy, a clip board, a driver’s license, a parcel/letter post receipt, a cellphone, and a Philippine passport.
The entrapment was conducted by the anti-narcotic operatives led by PDEA Region III together with PDEA AIU, NAIA-IADITG, NBI, PNP DEG, BOC and PNP AVESGROUP.
The suspect will be charged with violation of Section 4 (importation of dangerous drugs) of Article II of Republic Act 9165.
