GUAGUA, Pampanga — Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda joined the inauguration and blessing of the new fruits and vegetables section of the Guagua Public Market—an infrastructure project made possible through the support of Senator Joel Villanueva.

The event was spearheaded by the Municipal Government of Guagua, led by Mayor Tonton Torres, and attended by local officials, vendors, residents, and representatives from partner agencies.

In his message, Gov. Delta expressed his gratitude to Sen. Villanueva for funding the project, which he said fulfills one of his and Mayor Torres’ shared goals.
“Maraming salamat, Sen. Joel. Malaking tulong po ito. Isa po ito sa mga pangarap namin ni Mayor—ang ayusin ang palengke,” the governor said.

Sen. Villanueva, who also graced the event, praised the leadership and persistence of both Gov. Delta and Mayor Torres in championing projects that uplift the lives of their constituents.

He assured Kapampangans that his office will remain accessible for the remainder of his term.

“May three years pa po ako sa serbisyo, at palagi pong bukas ang aking tanggapan para sa mga Kapampangan,” Sen. Villanueva said.

The said section, now being used by vendors, features fruit and vegetable stands provided by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) through its Integrated Livelihood Program.
