In recognition of its unwavering support for voluntary blood donation, Mekeni Food Corporation was honored as a Blood Partner by the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH) during the hospital’s “Pista ng Pasasalamat” held on July 11, 2025 at Heroes Hall, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The event, held in celebration of National Blood Donors Month, paid tribute to various organizations, including companies, military units, LGUs, religious and civic groups, schools, universities, fraternities, and other NGOs, that have consistently supported JBLMGH’s blood donation program.
Mekeni was recognized for its continued commitment to saving lives through regular bloodletting activities and for fostering a culture of volunteerism among its employees.
“We are truly grateful to all our valued blood partners for the strong and continuous partnership in saving lives through voluntary blood donation,” said Dr. Gil Bryan Galvan, Head of JBLMGH Blood Bank.
Representing Mekeni at the event was Marilou Olalia Uy, Assistant Vice President for HR and Exports, together with Apple Garcia, HR Manager, who accepted the award on behalf of the company.
