CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Field Office 3 conducted an on-the-spot poster-making contest in celebration of World Food Day at the DA-3 office in Maimpis here.
The contest, organized in coordination with the Department of Education (DepEd), was open to Grade V & VI students enrolled in public and DepEd-accredited private schools nationwide.
The theme for this year is “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future.”
The World Food Day celebration was held through the Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Information Section (RAFIS) together with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and DepEd.
