6 companies in Clark cited for workplace safety

The Department of Labor and Employment Central Luzon honors six companies in Clark belonging to the aviation, information technology and business process management, and manufacturing sectors for logging zero work-related accidents in 2025. (DOLE)

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE — Six establishments in Clark were cited by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for recording zero work-related accidents in 2025.

These include SIA Engineering from the aviation sector; Montpac Global Solutions Inc. and Travel + Leisure Global Support Services Phils., Inc. from the information technology and business process management sector; and APEM Philippines Inc., Troycor Lighting Corporation, and Coronation Premium Manufacturing Inc. from the manufacturing sector.

DOLE Regional Director Geraldine Panlilio said this achievement is a result of consistently enforcing safety protocols, strengthening preventive measures, and promoting a culture of vigilance.

She stressed that industrial peace plays a crucial role in enabling companies to grow, expand, and generate more jobs for Filipino workers.

The director likewise expressed the agency’s commitment to support industries in sustaining safe and productive workplaces.

“We assure you that we will be doing our best to ensure that we are able to really promote and maintain industrial peace because this is a very important ingredient for us to be able continue having productive employees in companies who are able to earn more and expand and generate more jobs for the Filipino people,” Panlilio said.

Alongside the awarding, newly elected officers of the Industrial Tripartite Council (ITC) were affirmed, who will strengthen tripartite collaboration, enhance workplace safety, and promote fair labor practices and standards compliance.

Newly elected employee representative chairperson Michelle Aguilar from BPO Global emphasized the value of shared learning and collaboration within the council.

“I see this role as an opportunity to learn from everyone in the council…so that together, we can develop policies and initiatives that keep the council relevant and responsive to the needs of today’s workforce and the new generation of employees,” she said.

For her part, newly elected employee representative vice chairperson Anna Liza Torres from Amerton Incorporated cited their active role in helping the ITC council succeed.

“On behalf of the ITC manufacturing, as part of the ITC council, we will be giving our full support and commitment to fulfill the goal in the vision and mission of this council,” Torres said.
