CABANATUAN CITY — The Philippine Army inaugurated upgraded facilities and a mobility asset in Cabanatuan City, strengthening the service branch’s capability for modern military operations.
Army Chief Lieutenant General Antonio Nafarrete led the inauguration ceremony at the Command and Control Center of the Training Command at Camp General Manuel Tinio.
In his keynote message, Nafarrete identified three key areas that require sustained improvement: facilities, equipment, and training.
“These upgraded facilities and mobility assets stand as symbols of progress in our organization. They are designed to provide a more dynamic, responsive, and conducive environment for development where our soldiers and personnel can train, adapt, and excel in an ever-evolving operational landscape,” Nafarrete said.

The project emphasizes the importance of continuously improving facilities, equipment, and training to ensure that soldiers remain mission-ready amid evolving operational demands.
The Army chief also said that addressing the operational requirements of the Army requires a collective effort from all ground units up to the Headquarters of the Philippine Army.
He likewise cited the current limitations in training facilities, which prompted a recommendation to decentralize training activities while maintaining the same Program of Instruction and standards across various training sites to ensure uniform quality.
These upgraded facilities, including a classroom and mobility asset, will support the training operations of the Signal School at the C2C, ensuring that soldiers acquire the necessary skills and competencies to meet the demands of modern military operations.
