CAMP OLIVAS — A weeklong anti-crime drive of Central Luzon police from December 6 to December 12 yielded a total of 710 law violators, illegal drugs, and cash bets.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay announced that among the 710 arrests, 209 persons have standing warrants, 36 of whom are wanted for murder, rape, and frustrated murder while 182 were nabbed for illegal drugs, 255 were accosted for illegal gambling and 28 individuals were apprehended for violation of special laws.
A total of 496 plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 656.1 grams with DDB value of P4,454,088.88 and 34 sachets of marijuana valued at P49,440.76 were seized along with the confiscation of bet money amounting to P65,614.00.
Meanwhile, Baccay attended the inauguration of Orani and Orion Municipal Police Stations in Bataan, made a courtesy call to Bataan Governor Albert Garcia and had an executive meeting with Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año.
