Bulacan cops nab café cashier in P1.4-M robbery


CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S SANTOS – A man who robbed the café he is working for of some P1.4 million and four other law violators were arrested on Saturday by the Bulacan police.

In a report to Bulacan acting police  director Col. Manuel Lukban Jr., members of the San Ildefonso police arrested Mark Jerico Salmo of Bgy. Sta. Barbara, Baliuag, Bulacan, who allegedly took from the Filipina’s Cafe where he works as a cashier some P1.4 million in collection.

The suspect told police he will use the stolen money for online gambling.

Meanwhile, the San Rafael police nabbed suspect Renz Fabro, a resident of Capihan, San Rafael, Bulacan, for stealing P25,000.

Members of the Poblacion, Sta. Maria police hauled to jail suspects Jamal Tamano and Camaroding Tamano, both residents of Poblacion, for direct assault, resistance and disobedience to a person in authority and physical Injury. 

A manhunt operation launched by the Meycauayan police led to the arrest of Ernel Villanueva alias Batman, a native of Ozamis City who hid in Bgy. Perez, Meycauayan City, for rape.

Lukban vowed that the Bulacan police to continues its efforts to go after criminals.
