CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S SANTOS – Some P2,800,000 worth of marijuana was seized and two drug traffickers were arrested on Saturday in a buy-bust in Bgy. Panasahan, Malolos City, Bulacan.
Bulacan police acting director Col. Rommel Ochave identified the suspects as John Archie Sabado, 32, of Bongabon, Nueva Ecija; and a 17-year-old minor from San Andres, Cainta, Rizal.
The operation conducted by operatives of the Malolos City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) under Lt. Col. Christopher Leano resulted in the confiscation of 20 bricks of suspected dried marijuana leaves worth at least P2.8 million, cellphones, the buy-bust money, and the vehicle used by the suspects in the illegal drug trade.
