CAMP OLIVAS – A suspected drug trafficker who yielded more than P2 million worth of shabu was arrested in a drug bust in Mexico town on Saturday.
Joint elements of RPDEU-3, SCU3-RID and Mexico MPS conducted the entrapment in Bgy. Lagundi, Mexico which led to the arrest of Nabil Macadatar, 26, of Langkaan, Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Confiscated from Macadatar were three knot-tied plastic bags containing shabu weighing at least 305 grams worth P2,074,000, the marked money, one cellphone, a weighing scale, one body bag, and the SUV used by the suspect in the illegal transaction.
The suspect will be charged with violation of Sec. 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said his men are continuously conducting proactive operations to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs for a drug-free Central Luzon.
