ANGELES CITY – Police operations in Angeles City led to the arrest of five people involved in illegal online gambling, three drug pushers and one wanted person.
The Police Station 4 on Friday were informed by barangay officials in Sitio Bangkal, Bgy. Malabanias about the illegal gambling operation in the area.
The responding cops apprehended five e-gambling bettors including the operator, for violating the order of the city government on the temporary closure of all e-gambling.
Meanwhile, three drug personalities nabbed yielded P67,000 worth of shabu by members of Police Station 2 and Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit, while elements of Police Station 1 apprehended a wanted person for reckless imprudence resulting to damage to property who was securing a police clearance at their office.
Angeles City police acting commander Col. Diosdado Fabian vowed to step up their anti-crime efforts to ensure public safety, peace and order in the city.
