CAMP OLIVAS – Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay led the PRO3’s 31st Foundation Day, coinciding with the traditional Monday flag raising ceremony at this camp.
The event’s guest of honor was Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda, who was represented by 3rd District Board Member Atty. Ananias Canlas Jr.
Canlas, who was welcomed with honors, thanked the entire Central Luzon police for making the region peaceful and orderly.
He said the local government of Pampanga is always willing to extend additional assistance to the region’s police organization.
The ceremony was highlighted by an awarding recognition to deserving PNP personnel who have contributed to the upliftment of the PNP in general, and PRO3 in particular.
The PNP, since its establishment in 1991, has come a long way as a prime member of the DILG and has been leading in maintaining peace and order in the society.
The police has also been a partner in good governance as it ventures in transforming the organization into professionalized cops.
