Bulacan cops net 17 felons

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S SANTOS – Members of the Bulacan PNP enforcing COVID health protocols apprehended 11 law offenders.

In a report to Bulacan police acting director Col. Rommel Ochave, 11 drug suspects were arrested by operatives of Bocaue, Norzagaray, Meycauayan, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) with joint elements of 301st MC RMFB3. 

They were caught in the act of engaging in cockfighting activity (tupada), playing tong-its and cara y cruz. 

Confiscated in the operations were fighting cocks, gaffs, a set of playing cards, and bet money.

Meanwhile, three individuals were nabbed in different crime incidents in Calumpit and Pandi. 

They were identified as Jayson Parungao, of Siling Bata, Pandi and Mark Mamaril, of Dampol II, Pulilan, who were both arrested for acts of lasciviousness; and a 15-year-old male minor, of Siling Bata, Pandi, for rape.

Suspects identified as Mark Orteza alias Toy, of Pasig City, and Christian Joseph David alias CJ, of Bagong Pag-asa, Obando, were arrested in an entrapment by the Calumpit police and PHPT Bulacan, for carnapping.

A search warrant was conducted in Pandayan, Meycauayan City by the Meycauayan police resulting in the recovery of one .38 revolver and two .38 cartridges. 

A wanted person identified as Resty Garcia was arrested in a manhunt operation conducted by the Balagtas police for fog documents.

Ochave said the Bulacan police remains relentless in its anti-crime drive to curb all forms of illegal activities as ordered by PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay.
